White, Blue, Black
1 of 1 found this helpful The color of the unit depicts the memory. White unit is 512 MB and is a TH1100, Blue unit is 1GB and is a TH1101, and a Black unit is 2GB and is a TH1102. Look at the back unit to see which one you are selling. In very small print just above the battery case. There are only a few draw backs of these RCA Pearl units. One, they have no where to hang the unit from, no eyelet. Two the switches to increase sound and change music forward and backward wear out easily and are the week point of these units. I own many of these units and are very happy with the added memory and the amount of songs they will hold. The battery life is also good for the music it puts out. I prefer these units over the RCA Lyra due to the smaller size and lighter weight. They are not as rugged as the RCA Lyra but fit in a pocket just like a pocket knife.

Makita 9093D Drill 9.6V, 3/8 inch, easy to fix and maintain, costly battery
4 of 4 found this helpful The Makita 6093D drill is easier to work on than the 6095D, due to the smaller size chuck when removing the plastic clutch shift ring during disassembly. A few things can go wrong with these drills, a variable switch failure, a bad H=L speed switch, (if not shifted when the drill is running, a bad knocking sound is heard when the drill is turning) and bad battery contacts. Because of these problems and if the clutch shift ring can't be removed, the drill can't be fixed easily, as on the 6095D. Batteries are costly and can be a problem when Ni-Mh batteries are used in place of Ni-Cd batteries and you have a charger that just works for Ni-Cd only. Some Ni-Mh batteries do not allow the safety features of the battery to function and must be monitored or not charge up at all. The Ni-Mh batteries must be watched, due to heat and time on charger. Also a chilled battery charges up better. I own more than 2 dozen of these types of cordless drills, 6093D, 6095D, 6012HD, and 6011D. The 6093D with a Jacobs chuck and chuck key are my favorite. All these drills are quite strong and can be dropped from 3 or 4 feet and do not break, due to the plastic construction. Electrical shock while drilling into hot electrical wiring by mistake is somewhat avoided. The variable switch is real complicated, it uses a PC board and heat sunk transistor to do the variable speed. One of my drills, drains the battery, if left in the drill and not in use. For this reason, I remove all batteries from my drills. The forward and reverse switch is easily seen to determine drill rotation. The drill is real comfortable in your hand and not too heavy. The handle gives you good torque control, due to handle length. This drill is quite large and when a drill bit is added, it can't be used in tight places. A good deal is a used drill at 25 bucks plus shipping or less on Ebay with charger and working battery. For those mechanically inclined the 6093D drill is easy to fix and lube. It is well engineered, so far the motor, bearings and gears on these drills that have been used hard and put up wet, work perfect after decades of use. So far no gear problems. The screws and nuts that hold the unit together are the best. Screws DO NOT go into plastic that breaks or strips out. It is amazing what a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and a little grease and oil can do. The eraser removes the dirt, the grease and oil makes the drill run smooth and quiet. Removal of a Jacobs Chuck: Fully open the chuck. Look inside the chuck and determine which tool is necessary to remove the screw that holds the chuck in place. A screw driver is most common. The screw has a Reverse Thread. Remove the screw with a clockwise motion. The chuck head might need to be held in a vise to remove the screw. Do not over tighten and distort the chuck. Remove drill from vise. Next chuck up a hex screw driver bit. Place the small amount of the bit that is sticking out of the chuck in a vise and tighten the vise. Put a fully charged battery in the drill. Put the drill in reverse mode. Put the drill in low speed, the mechanical setting on top of the drill, this will give the drill the most torque. While holding the drill real tight, push the variable speed switch in as fast as you can, full on. This should break loose the chuck from the body of the drill. Put a new chuck on and reverse the steps above. If a drill has either an electrical or mechanical problem and you can't get the drill to turn, this might be a bit harder, good luck.

Good steak knife for the price.
Beautiful knives, solid, strong, and like what other people say, they are sharp, they cut tri-tip easily. The knives feel good in my hand, well balanced and easy to use. Made for every day use and dishwasher safe. At the price I paid, two dollars and twenty five cents each, they are worth every penny. I hate a dull knife and these should hold up for years. They are made in China, but so is everything else. My wife liked them so much we have ordered another set of 8.
