The D1483 unit will not send or receive the radio waves from the 3 phone sets that I have.
The new unit that I received in the mail answers phone calls. But the new unit will not connect up with the 3 phones I have from the original set. The 3 phones I have will not send or receive from the base station. I have tried to rest the phones as per instruction booklet, but the unit will not work. Uniden is out of business and I cannot find anybody tdo contact to help me get the unit to work. I spent $13.00 total, but the unit still does not work. The model numbers are a match. I do not know how to reset the new base unit. And the old base unit will not reset. I spent $13 total but I would have to say 'Unsatisfactory'. If I could contact somebody that knew what to do, this would be good.
