No 'Closed Captioning in English' only Spanish. Not recommended for deaf.
The product was as described by the seller, no complaints by me about the description. This product has CLOSED CAPTIONING in "Spanish" only. There is no "English" closed captioning at all. My mother is deaf and can't understand what Michael Caine is saying, due to his "Queens English" accent. It is an excellent movie and have watched it several times, but I get tired of yelling the dialog to her, so she can follow along. Turning up the volume doesn't help, since she can't understand his British accent.
Demi Moore is excellent in this movie and all of the scenes and settings look appropriate for the time period. It starts out with her being interviewed about her past job as an office manager. The interviewer is a young lady, who is writing a story for the newspaper about her tough climb to the top, when women weren't executives. When Demi pulls out a diamond the size of a golf ball, the interviewer is dumb founded and decides to hang up her cell phone and listen. She (Demi) hands her a manila folder with all the details of her former job and how she acquired the money. Michael Caine is equally convincing about pulling off the crime of the century and does it for the oldest motive in the world; "revenge." Great movie and love the cigarette ashtrays and telephones of the past, along with her hairstyle and dresses.
