Hipshot Ric replacement tailpiece - installation tips and endorsement
1 of 1 found this helpful Measure existing string heights and lengths, nut to saddle, before you begin, to get an initial setup before adjustment. Requires soldering the earth wire. I had to shorten two intonation screws but much easier to adjust intonation than original and individual heights can be set. Roller saddles improve string seating. Took about 90 mins to fit and adjust.
The brass version is heavy but the tones are clear and bright, emphasising the original Ric tone. This is a quality, direct replacement, highly recommended. It’s a shame Rickenbacker never produced anything as good as this. Always keep the old bits to sell with your guitar as may affect the value.

Well made for the money. Camera attachment a bit of a fiddle so I permanently fix the mounting block for my telephoto to the Stick.
