Smooth, highly pigmented, and excellent blend ability!
1 of 1 found this helpful First of all, I love how the paint pots aren't super tiny like other brands. They are about 2 inches across, leaving enough space for bigger brushes to do larger washes and strokes of colour. There are 3 metallic colours that offer unique sheen and lustre to a painting that you would usually have to buy a separate pallet for. This 36 piece set has a nice variety of colours, and hues that I wouldn't have purchased on my own (the cornflower blue, for example, would be easily made by using a light wash and taking advantage of the white paper underneath), but they offer a great option if you wish to use these colours dry to get a nice saturation of lighter and brighter colours. One last thing: used up a colour? The trays can be purchased individually! Yay!
I would recommend this set for people who are into doing massive paintings and need a good variety of colour to work with.

Good quality, and a nice size. About a quarter in diameter for most.
Clear stickers so they layer nicely too.
