For Chronic arthitic pain/depression
1 of 1 found this helpful I find that taking 2-200mg doses ea. day helps with my chronic arthritic pain and also is helping me to wean off the narcotic (Percocet) pain medicine that I take to deal with the chronic pain. Because I am on blood thinners, I can not take aspirin based or NSAIDS for my pain....can literally bleed to death. So, I have been taking the opiod medication (thanks to the VA) and have been getting some relief AND grief. The SAM-E is something that elevates my mood and keeps me from running to my bottle of prescription meds...just to keep the withdrawal symptoms from getting the best of me. I am not a doctor, nor do make any medical suggestion of claim....but do recommend Jarrows as a reputable brand. I would not take a single 400mg in one dose because I would feel to 'high'. ;). Just use 2 -200mg separate doses.....Do your research of reviews ....see what the consensus is....I did that, as well as depending on my own experience...
