Nothing dramatic but it works
It's a mild acid that works though it might take repeated applications.

Cheap but a little spongy
I regret buying this underlay. I'm sure a higher compression underlay would provide a more solid feel and be quieter. My boards have a slight crackling in places where there's slight movement and can feel a little spongy. Will it settle? Will it get worse? Time will tell. Probably worth the extra expense of a higher compression underlay.

I have not yet found a quiet fan
Bought this to replace a 3 pin fan which was bought to replace an original fan in an old Dell desktop. I noticed no difference in noise in any of the fans & the CPU temperature is also exactly the same for all of them. This one is cheap & has worked well in the couple of months I've had it, but in my experience it is not quiet & so I can only give it 3 stars.
