Falls short of the original
2 of 2 found this helpful The 6505 MH is not quite like the actual 6505. Likely due to the EL84’s, it lacks the famous grind and aggression of its bigger brother. The attack is much softer, though the actual voicing of the amp is largely the same. The clean is hard to attain without the low gain input option, but the crunch/rhythm channel is actually pretty close to the real deal. Definitely skip if you are expecting the aggressive metal tones of the 6505/5150.
