Outstanding multiplayer experience
Hands-down the best multiplayer experience you can find on GameCube, with the possible exceptions of Mario Strikers and Mario Party. Definitely an essential for anyone who has people to play with. You can play alone as well, unlocking new karts, tracks and even racers in the process, all while improving at the game. Definitely a good find, the only downside being the complexity of the controls compared to more modern Mario Kart games, such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Great for parties
This is legit the most fun I’ve had with a video game in ages. Definitely recommend for speculative party hosts who like video games. Looking forward to hosting my own get-together after lockdown and surprising people with this game and others.
