Buy a better fitting proper hollow ground screwdriver, not this one

Should be hollow ground to have a proper fit. Blade is very thin at the tip, almost knife-like, very loose in screw slots and is therefore prone to slippage or even breakage. A proper driver would fit ALMOST snugly in a screw slot and not be a very loose sloppy fit such as this item. I would have expected MUCH MORE from Bergeon for this item. I recommend shopping around for a proper hollow ground screwdriver that will fit properly. Using this item, you are just asking for trouble. I have a CHEAP imported screwdriver set of flat and phillips blades drivers, and one of the flat bladed ones fits way better than this Bergeon. I cannot image a true "watchmaker" using this ill-fitting item on any watch movement or bracelet!

Walkout Signals are often Unusable

These things are EXTREMELY NOTORIOUS for failing or being non-functional right out of the box, even when they were first produced. The problem stems from a bad electrical component that likely was from poor quality manufacturing. I have reverse-engineered these and located a commonly available, DURABLE part to repair them. Keep in mind that Lionel TOSSES these away if you attempt to send them in for service, even non-warranty where the customer would pay for repairs. THEY WILL NOT FIX THEM and you will NOT even get it back from them. Be aware that the likelihood of getting a BAD one is VERY HIGH. 5 out of 8 that I purchased from 2001 to 2005 or so were either bad or went bad within months. Sorry if I have rained on your parade, but this is all FACT, verified by me, a train accessory user. POTENTIAL USERS BEWARE! However, if you are buying as a display piece, then go right ahead.
