Toy world’s Leia
A tale of two modes, in mecha mode Leia looks fantastic, a very worthy rendering of Arcee from the 1986 Transformers movie, well proportioned and feminine looking bot. Instead of articulate hands this figure uses interchangeable ones, akin to a figma, which will be a matter of taste if one enjoys that take, opposed to the way takara and other 3rd party companies do it. Accessories included in this set are numerous sets of interchanging hands as alluded to earlier, a set of two handguns which can be connected together to make a small rifle and a set of katana style swords to emulate her IDW comic book look.
Now to the less positive side, her car mode, to accomplish her mecha look so successfully the rear end of the car was basically left undone. Essentially just folding up the legs, leaving much to be desired. Her joints are nice and tight, making for good posability, standing her next to mp-28 Hot Rodimus she stands taller, so the scaling isn’t quite right with the post mp-10 masterpiece line. Overall, a very good figure, with concession made to make a better mecha mode, so consider that into your purchasing choice of Arcee models.
