HAPE E6033 QUADRILLA VORTEX [Quadrilla Marble Runs] 3pcs 4 Years +

Multi-directional marble fun

Purchased the Quadrilla Vortex to compliment the Quadrilla Cyclone set and it does that admirably. Enabling balls to enter the spiral from either side and leave from the centre adds to the permutations of the set and the variety of formal configurations possible. With careful packing it will even fit in the Cyclone box which is a useful advantage for packing away. If I have one criticism it is that the red power booster/hole plugs are made of plastic unlike those in the Cyclone set which are wood. That said, we are very happy with the product and it lives up to the quality found in the many other Hape products we have purchased over the years. We got this (and the Cyclone set) as a present for our 3 year old daughter and she loves it so much that she continues to think we are celebrating her Birthday every time we get it out. While she can not yet set it up entirely on her own, she enjoys participating in the build. Our 7 year old son also loves it and is learning fast how to design his own configurations. I am considerably older and enjoy the challenge too.

Had the 15mm version already but needed ...

Had the 15mm version already but needed the 22mm pipe cutter to remove some old pipes no longer in use. It did the job as well as it's small sibling.
