This fan controller is awesome and it works exactly the way i expected it to. the way that it's different is that it sends the PWM signal over usb to your pc instead of the little spindly 4 pin wires that usually perform that duty. meaning you can have a longer PWM cable effectively, or move your noisy hot radiator farther away. the only controller i know of that will let your fans react to your motherboard sensors over long distances. i don't think it works without synapse.
