Forever Avon
The Avon Cobra Chrome 240/40R18 are quiet, long lasting and stick to the road. My 2019 M109R with 57,564 miles can fit a 240, 250 & 260 tire but the 240 has the deeper thread at 9.2mm vs 6.7mm for the other two sizes. My current Avon 240 has 17,482 miles on it and noticed the other day the center is thin in two spots. First replacement tires were Dunlop Elite 4 w/250 rear 6.4mm thread and they wore out really fast. Tried 260 Metzler ME888 (no thread info) but had a few slips that scared the life out of me. However, a screw ended the life after only 3,000 miles and that lead me to buying Avons ever since.
