Great bumper for the money

First off this bumper looks great when installed on the truck. Installation is extremely easy and straight forward, the installation instructions are very detailed and in full color. All of the hardware comes with it and is built pretty solid. Its fairly heavy but can be lifted and installed by one person. The fact is allows you to be able to keep the factory trailer hitch, license plate lights, and trailer plug are the biggest reasons i purchased it. Overall for the value, this bumper is awesome, looks good, solid build, much stronger and better looking than stock. Its not without its flaws though, the steel used to make it is pretty thin, although the bumper itself is solid all welded together it could have been made out of a thicker/stronger steel. The black coating is thin as well, it looks great on initial install but i dont forsee it lasting more than a few years before it will need to be recoated. If you plan to put this on anything other than a daily driver/worktruck i would recommend sanding it and coating it in bedliner or powdercoating it to match your truck. And lastly the LED pod holes are made pretty much only for the pods that come with the bumper or pods of similar size. Would be a nice upgrade if the holes were slightly bigger to allow the install of nicer flush mount pods. They could be ground out bigger but youll have to recoat the bumper if you do that. All in all for the price this bumper is a great buy, it looks good, built pretty well, installed on the frame nice and solid. Keeps factory items that makes for a straight forward and easy install. And lastly brings a nice rough and tough piece to protect the back end of your truck!

Good shipping, not the greatest packaging, should have been shipped with better insulation to prevent damage. Mine was not damaged but the way postal workers handle people's packages in today's world it definitely could have been. It installed perfectly, looks great, it much heavier duty than the factory cover. Much easier to fill and check fluid with the dipstick and low drain port.
