Balboa WI-FI MODULE for Cal Spas and others. NEW

Works but is it worth it?

It's a little finicky to set up. There is a magnet on the side you have to hold to the side on the antenna module if you ever need to reset so it will usually mean pulling the side panels of the hot tub off. So far I've had it for about a month and it's been working as expected. As others have noted it is fairly limited in what it can do. A subset of the topside panel. But never the less another nice to have wifi enabled device. Hardest part was just the whole sequence for initializing. First pair to device. Then set the device to pair to wifi access point (was hard to figure out where to enter SSID but it's in the menu's). Then set up account for cloud access.

Horrible customer support, not kept updated

I bought this Landrover OBD-II tool thinking it would work on a 2019 model after doing a software update. The most recent version of the Discovery handled by the tool is 2015. Additionally it is a little clunky in terms of menu’s and doesn’t even do things like reset service reminders. There are better tools out there. Plus customer support will ignore any tough questions about the product as why it hasn’t been update for a new model introduced in 2016. That’s 5 years ago!

Skeptical- but really works

I was very skeptical at first but best product I’ve ever used for my hot tub. This along with a bromine floater absolutely does the trick.
