The Snow Queen will melt your heart!

I LOVED this movie! It was a little long, and I needed to take a break in the middle, but it kept my interest to the end. This is a “feel good” story about love and the human spirit to trust and persevere. It was nice to watch something that I could enjoy with my little nieces.My nieces are 12 and 8. I am not sure that this would be appropriate for an immature younger audience, you may want to screen it first. A good story, great acting, wonderful special effects, and a warm smile at the end for me.A mixture of fantasy and "love conquers all". Your Aunt Nancy highly recommends this one, Enjoy!

IDo, IDo !

I grew up with a great respect and admiration for Jackie Kennedy. I purchased this book with hopes of seeing more photos of her wedding to J.F.K. I was not disappointed! This book has so many wonderful pictures from the private collections of wedding guest, and the JFK Library. “Kennedy Weddings” starts with pictures of Joseph and Rose Kennedy, the first generation in 1914. Many beautiful photos chronicle the Kennedy weddings up to the year of 1998. Not only is this book filled with beautiful photos, but it also has many pages of memorabilia. If you are a history buff, you will gain a wonderful insight on a family that changed our history. If you are a fashion enthusiast, you will experience a history of Wedding fashions and flair. I loved “Kennedy Weddings”, and have enjoyed going back and looking through it many times. My only regret, was that I wanted more!

Wonderland is Not just for Kids anymore!

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It offered a few twists from the book, but who doesn’t like a few embellishments once and a while? The special effects are fantastic. I loved the costumes, and what can I say about a cast of famous, spectacular actors? Well, I can say that when thrown all together, you get a movie that entertains and keeps your interest. Who could refuse a singing, dancing turtle…Gene Wilder, or a disappearing Cheshire Cat, played by Whoopi Goldberg. I won’t name all of the actors, but you will recognize a lot of faces. The movie is a bit long and runs two hours. Plan to make pop corn, and take a little break in the middle to stretch and take care of business. I watched this movie alone, but I know that my nieces would have loved it. I can honestly recommend this for children (and adults) of ALL ages! Enjoy :-)
