J5Create Live Capture Adapter does exactly what it says.
This product does exactly what it says and does it well. It takes a live HDMI source, such as a Camcorder, and outputs a USB-C video for viewing on a USB-C smartphone, Android in my case, or to a Laptop. My specific use was to make my smartphone act as a large viewfinder for my Canon G30 HD camcorder. The phone used USB Camera app for this purpose. You only need to add a short HDMI cable from the camcorder to the J5 capture adapter. Previous capture cards required extra cable adapters and were not reliable.
