Pink Floyd With Harmonic Chorale
Literally, the Pink Floyd influence is apparent in almost every cut. I am a fan of vocals well done. Harmony, when it is well done, is a particular favorite of mine. Although the lead singer's voice has less depth, the arrangements tend to make that less apparent by playing to his strengths. The song "I'm Not In Love" by 10CC reminds me of the Dream Academy style. Indeed,
Dream Academy could have done a very good cover of that work if they had wanted to try it. An album of just one hit song and the quality of the others lacking
leaves me disappointed...not so with this CD. "Life In A Northern Town" is the
hit single, but several other songs pull you in and are entertaining. I LIKE this CD! A pleasant surprise and a recommended purchase!

Streamlight TLR-1 HL Weaponlight
After my first one, I was so impressed with this weaponlight that I mounted them on several of my firearms. They are intensely bright (630 lumens) and can be set into multiple modes. Off, Light on all the time, Light on momentarily, Strobe on all the time, Strobe on momentarily. It has a rocker-type of switch which can be accessed by both right and lefthanders easily, mounts to standard picatinny rails and has, for me, been 100% reliable. It is powered by a pair of CR-123 batteries which mount through the rear under the activation switch. One thing that is not totally intuitive is the way that you open the battery compartment, it is slightly odd...but it works quite well...just read the enclosed direction and it's easily done...no tools needed...although a coin is useful to tighten up the mounting screw. Once mounted, the light will be stay solidly in place. You will not be disappointed with this little light! And did I mention that it is VERY bright?! Quite high quality too! I'll be buying more of them in the future!

Magpul Sling Mount
If it has the Magpul name you can be assured of getting a well-designed, quality item. Unlike so many competitors, this mount is 100% metal, fits firmly into place (on M-Lok forends) is quite strong and doesn't rattle or move at all. The angle of the 'loop' is slightly elevated (so that you can connect to it) but doesn't protrude significantly. Someone put a lot of thought into this thing. Most will know that screws, which you don't want to loosen, should receive a drop of Locktite blue in order to remain in place. Happily, Magpul supplies screws ( 1/8" Allens) which have some thread-
locker already on them! Nice touch. Great product.
