Varying sound quality
While some of the song recordings sound fairly crisp as if obtained from master recordings or clean vinyl, many others, like Miller's classic "Little Brown Jug" are quite scratchy - as if haphazardly copied from a worn 78 record. I have a 78 of this that sounds way better. So despite the nice packaging of the 3 CD set, it think that they obtained recording from various sources without bothering to ensure that they obtained the best copy available or to electrically clean them up for high quality sound. But, if you want nostalgic sound, then this is for you. Lacking noise suppression common with some re-releases of vintage music, this CD does not have that "tubby" sound or annoying phase shift common when engineers go overboard trying to clean up hiss and pop at the expense of fidelity. So maybe that's a small plus. Also, the Gracenotes data for the CD's is different so when they copy to I-Tunes, it splits them up into separate albums instead of one album with disc 1,2,3 all-in-one. They could have done a better job sourcing the recordings used on this set. Oh, and on disc 3, the 23rd song is labeled as Moonlight Serenade - but it is actually American Patrol . Disc 1 lists Moonlight Serenade as song 1. Man, messed up CD's, packaging and engineering.

Nice LED solar lights
2 of 2 found this helpful Better product than similar ones on E-Bay. LED's are pure white, the solar panel is full rather than little strips of partial photovoltaics as found in at least one other product. Lights stay lit for hours after dark. Nice item. Great value.
