Clear Blue, Blue, BlueBlack Pilot SPN-20F Petit 1 mini fine nib Fountain pen

Fun, Inexpensive Pen
I have various fountain pens, including a Lamy Safari that I regularly use and a Lamy cp1 for more formal contexts. But I really enjoy the Pilot Petit1. I carry one both as a back-up and for cases in which I want a finer line than my Safari produces. I have also lent one to a friend so that she could experience writing with a fountain pen for a while. There are two problems to be acknowledged. First, these pens require disposable ink cartridges; there is no reusable cartridge available. That is not surprising, given that this pen is so small and inexpensive, but it will push-up the long-run cost of using one. (Some people modify the barrel, to effectively turn it into a reusable reservoir, but the results seem rather imperfect to me.) Second, the pocket clip can be expected ultimately to break after a few years, and is not practically replaceable. But, again, this is an inexpensive pen.

a valuable resource for scholars
The Broadview Press edition of She is of special use to those with a scholarly interest in She. First, the text is that of the original serialization. Haggard made a number of subsequent, non-trivial revisions. (These are provided in an appendix.) Second, there is a rich set of appendices, with extracts from sources of the Nineteenth and early Twentieth Century, to help the reader under stand the context from which She emerged and the reception that it met. If you're looking for Haggard's best effort with this story, then I'd suggest that you instead get one of the many other editions that present the text as he ultimately left it. But if you already have read that text, and want now to explore She from a perspective of social science or of literary criticism, then get a copy of this Broadview Press edition. (You might also want a copy of the annotated edition published by Indiana University Press some years ago.)
AUTOart 1/87 scale Honda CR - Z key chain (aluminum) 41601

Won't Accommodate the Standard Key for the CR-Z!
The clasp on these key-chains will not accommodate the standard key for the CR-Z! A ring could be added to that key, and then that clasp could go around that ring; or the clasp that is part of the key-chain could itself be replaced. But what a dreadful design failure!
