  The saddle pad is a bit stiff, but I guess it's supposed to be that way. This is my first purchase of a wool blanket protector so I am unsure of what to expect. As far as I know, the pad is exactly like the listing's description--brand new. The seller shipped it fast, and it arrived fast! I haven't used the pad protector yet so I can't really say if it is a good value or not. But the seller was great, and I look forward to using the pad with my show wool saddle blanket!
