You can make it work even with the shortcomings.

It's extremely hard to bend the wires. I couldn't curl them as suggested. I had to use glue at the ends of the beads to keep them from separating since the wire couldn't be bent accurately enough to keep the beads tightly together. If that doesn't bother you, then go ahead and get them. They are otherwise easy to make and are very pretty.
