I think these are knockoffs
I thought it was my imagination that the sound quality to these headphones were bad. Then I read the one star reviews and they confirmed my suspicions. These may very well be knockoffs. The sound is really fuzzy and muffled, not clear and crisp like other Samsung headphones I've purchased. I'm this close to chucking them in the trash and regret having been so careless with my old pair.

Great cheap portable speaker
This speaker sells for exactly $5 at Five Below. It's small, cute and portable and comes with colorful LED lighting. The sound is surprisingly good for the price. Don't get me wrong; this is nowhere near as good as a speaker that sells for $100 or maybe even $25. But I've bought speakers in the past in this price range and they were abysmal (tinny sound, very low volume). This one is okay. Not brilliant but pretty good.
As for the complaints about bass, you can try tweaking the audio settings on your device to boost it.

Great resource on Americana. Should be in every school library.
This is just what I was looking for, something along the likes of Charles Phoenix's books. It's filled with great pictures of the past, as well as firsthand accounts by people who experienced all this history firsthand. I recommend it highly.
