Functions, but not the best design / quality.
As others mentioned it is strong and functional; however, it does have a couple of issues you should consider.
The chrome balls rust immediately. Others mentioned the rust, making all kinds of comments about it being a tool...fact is, even generic chrome balls don't rust this fast. Just know that the chrome rust from the first use. Don't buy if rusty balls bother you.
Second issue you should consider is that when using this product to lower your hitch it is likely to drag the ground a lot. Because the Curt adjustable tri-ball mount is longer than a normal receiver it can drag the ground when a normal receiver of the same drop wouldn't. My Curt tri-ball is mounted on a stock 2015 Silverado with a Curt brand hitch; set to pull a new 6x12 enclosed trailer that has 15" wheels...so you would not think ground clearance would be an issue, but it is. This trailer is not low to the ground by any means. When using the 2" ball, the 1&7/8" ball hangs down and often drags. I find the 1&7/8" ball dragging on sidewalks, driveways, and even rarely on a streap curve in a road / smaller intersection...this is with two more lowering positions that it could be in!
If the above issues aren't a concern for you then you should love the performance and convenience of this Curt Adjustable Tri-Ball Mount. It is very heavy. Requires a wrench to change positions if you tighten the anti-rattle bolt.
Thank you.

Strong, great value. It won't disappoint.
Excellent. Strong and adjustable. Had two on my used van; bought this set to have a third bar for extra security...matched exactly. Was able to adjust all three into a perfect plane/straight line to hold my 32' ladder. Wish they had a black paint option. I painted mine black because the van is dark colored.
