inexpensive, sturdy, delivered in less than 3 weeks. A good buy!
2 of 3 found this helpful considering how inexpensive this is, I consider it to be a great value! The software was easy to download and install, and worked perfectly the first time I plugged the detector into the earphone jack of my Android phone. While I can't tell how accurate the reading is, there's no question that the detector can determine the presence of a (low level) radioactive source, and it does give a reasonable background reading. In other words, it detects and displays levels of radioactivity, and that's what I wanted...
It appears to be quite sturdy, although I suppose it would be possible to break it with rough handling.
The software appears to have the ability to store readings, something I'll explore later.

sometimes it's just nice to hear another voice during the day! And I can see how using this with products that let you turn appliances and lights on or off, adjust the thermostat, or even lock doors would be really handy. Although it connects by wifi, I think it would also be handy if they had included an ethernet connection so you could hard-wire it into your router.
