JUST CAN'T BEAT A SONY!!!!!
2 of 3 found this helpful Great product!!!! Great brand!!!! Great price!!! Can't go wrong with Sony. I was looking to upgrade my old recorder(generic brand)and I knew this would be the perfect component to compliment my A/V system. It's a small but powerful unit and fully loaded with many great features but basically does what it is intended to do..RECORD. And the price was very reasonable compared to the price of my previous recorder. I was a little hesitant to buy "refurbished" but as I said before...it's a Sony so how can you go wrong!!! Love this recorder and would recommend it to anyone looking to replace or make a first time purchase of a dvd recorder.

Good portable dvd player
2 of 2 found this helpful I have owned several Sylvania portables in the past and have gotten good use from all of them. This one is no exception. Even though it lacks some of the "modern" features (memory card/usb reader) it is still a very good player for watching movies from a discs. Nice size viewing screen and good picture. Great for on-the-go but it also has a video out feaure to watch on full-size TV. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive high quality player.
