Outdoor mic.

This microphone is very sensitive to wind noise, having in mind its for outdoor use. You need to cover it with foam and even a bit of tape on the front to prevent the wind going into the housing. Another problem is the shielding of the housing. There's no easy way of grounding the housing directly to the negative supply, to eliminate potential hum, depending on the input stage of the receiver. Any way - you can get it to work fine, but not straight out the box.
