Great sound from a compact unit
1 of 1 found this helpful The old adage applies here. You certainly get what you pay for. The Bose speaker may cost significantly more than some of its competitors but this speaker ticks all the boxes. The sound is superb in all frequencies, highs, mids and lows. Battery life is twelve hours and connecting via Bluetooth is a breeze. It is hard to believe that a compact speaker can punch out such a bass.
The speaker emits 360 degree sound so if you place it in the middle of room everyone can enjoy the experience. The unit also exudes quality in design and materials although some may say it resembles a 500 gram plastic salt container that's common in Australia.
Before buying this speaker I bought a cheap alternative, thinking it would be adequate. How wrong I was. It was described as hi-fi and rated at 40 watts. It was also poorly made and was speedily returned. I happily forked out ten times its cost to buy the Bose.
Finally, a voice lets you know when you're connected via Bluetooth and battery charge remaining each time you turn on the unit. You're even given a choice of languages. I might take up French just to impress friends or family when the speaker responds in French. But my wife might think I've gone too far this time with my relationship with the speaker as I already store it in a padded camera case.
