Steering Pitman Arm XRF K7239 fits 94-99 Dodge Ram 1500

I have used the XRF parts on another Dodge 3500 diesel. I installed upper and lower ball jonts. For the price, they seem to be okay. I did have an upper ball joint go bad shortly after installation, 5000 miles. I had a bad tire on that side so I can't say it wasn't my fault. They have probably 20k on them now and seem to be fine. On this Pitman Arm, it was a different design and lighter weight than what I was replacing. It worked much better than what I had. It had gotten damaged from an accident and had just a little slack in it. With wide tires, it made it rough to drive. Now, it is much more secure and stable. The arm I replaced was almost new so it was not factory, but it was much heavier. Also, the shaft on it was fixed on one axis. It would only rotate, not swivel. The XRF arm had a swivel style joint which is what I would have expected. It worked great. Only have about 500 miles on it so I can't comment on the quality yet.

Worked great, factory parts.
I bought two of these for a new S10 I had just bought. I was able to program these myself and they worked great. Very happy with purchase. I have not always been able to program these to Chevy trucks. Sometimes I have to take it to the dealer.

Cheap Chinese junk, literly. Don't buy.
I bought this product because it stated it was "metal" housing. It is NOT A METAL HOUSING! It's the same as all of the other cheap ones. 90% plastic, which is why these break to start with, 10% metal bracket. These are famous for breaking because the finger that actuated the mechanism is plastic. Any binding from mis-alignment to rusty latches, to worn hinges puts too much stress on the plastic finger breaking it. The handle needs to be die cast aluminum at the very least also. Fully mis-led on this item. Asked for refund, no response.
