Bath Shower Screen Door Seal Strip | Glass Thickness 4mm - 6mm | Seals Gap 12mm

Simple and effective

I bought this to replace the original (as installed with new screen) 5 year old seal strip which was of a much more basic profile (cross section like an under-inflated car tyre) and no longer flexible enough to do the job. Having followed instructions (measuring, cleaning screen, etc.) installation was easy and the performance is good. No more 'leaks' under the seal, so no more wet floor! :-)

I'd buy them again, so recommend you buy...at the 'right' price of course!

I bought these in September 2011 (eBay seller, as 'new other -refurbished', although they were 'mint' with only the outer retail packaging being very slightly scruffy) for £39.99 inc. 'free' P&P. For me that has turned out, as expected (I had researched thoroughly before buying), to be a 'bargain'! Prices for the same or equivalent are typically 2 to 3 times what I paid, particulary at Airport shops. - I've recently used them on a couple of long-haul flights and they didn't disappoint, cutting out enough engine noise 'drone' to make both listening (in-flight tv/movies) and sleeping more comfortable than would othwerwise be. - Not sure about exactly how much noise is actually reduced, which I guess is not only partly subjective but also depends on the frequencies. - They are well made (decent quality look and feel) and were physically comfortable to wear for several hours at a time. The single lead (cable) being of sensible length and plugging into the left side, meant no problems with tangling. - The battery (1 x AAA) life was fine with replacement NOT necessary after more than 20 hours use. - The 'hard' travel case is great for storage with protection of both headphones, the lead and accessory plug/socket adapter. - So, my rating is 5* out of 5*, although that is partly based on the price I paid. :-)
