JUNK! Air filter is unusable. There are no pleats inside the air filter and it is unusable. Chinese JUNK!
JUNK! UNUSABLE! The air filter has no pleats inside, only an outer thin film of paper. It is totally unusable. Chinese JUNK!

It fits, it works, the price is right, but there are some drawbacks.
3 of 3 found this helpful A good value overall, but definitely a lesser quality reproduction of the original. The biggest difference I noticed is that the original Simpson movement responded crisply and immediately. This movement has a bit of delay as it slowly moves up to the final reading. The 3 holes which hold the rubber bumpers for the shock mounting are too small for the bumpers. I had to use the old meter movement to select the correct drill size then drill out the holes on the new movement so the bumpers would fit. Not a big deal really, just better attention to QC is needed. The pictured face is different than the one I received. This bugged me, but it didn't effect operation. The new movement is much thicker than the original. Below the word WATTS is printed in script Watts "Electionics" ??? inc. I guess it is Chineese phonectic mis-spelling of Electronics. Nit picky details I know. It works, well, kinda, I think so. I noticed that UHF readings at low wattages do seem to be on the low side as compared with previous readings on the same equipment and as compared to other meters. For HF it pretty much nails it. A good movement if you want to save a few bucks and not get a more expensive original Simpson movement, which can be at times hard to find..

Nice finder scope.
The product arrived before promised and was packed well. The reticle was nice but the led is a little too bright even on the lowest setting. Good optics and field of view. No instructions were sent on how to align and it was kind of a strange arrangement with 3 alignment screws in front and a rubber O-ring in back. I really enjoy using it, and it is a quality product.
