Well-preserved considering the circumstances.
A bit of visible wear on the spine, but this was listed as "fair" condition so that isn't surprising. The previous owner went through the trouble of using organization labels to tag the different sections, which was an unexpected surprise.

Worth it for the Squeeg-E parts
1 of 1 found this helpful Most of the parts in this kit are subpar quality. The copper brushes in particular don't grab fouling very well and seem ready to fall apart. However, I also only paid ten dollars for this kit, and it is very true that you get what you pay for. The real value in this product are the four silicone Squeeg-E tips that are included; individually they sell for five dollars each, but you get four in this kit—a .38/9mm, a .45, a .22, and a .30—for the price of two. These tips, if that's what you're looking for, seem to be the real deal, and work as a good substitute for bore patches. My advice would be to buy this Remington kit for the Squeeg-E, put those tips into a nice Otis kit, and throw out the rest. Other kits may work for you, but Otis are the only ones I know of who offer the cable pull-through instead of a rod, and I can personally confirm that the Squeeg-E tips will thread info Otis parts without issue.
