Intermatic timer tripper
These trippers work. Good quality. The original intermatic hex head screws were easier for me to lock them in place. However these trippers work well.

Kenmore Coldspot icemaker replaced with aftermarket icemaker.
The icemaker in carton box arrived undamaged. Look on youtube for removing the old icemaker.
Pay attention how wires and connector are positioned when the wire shroud is removed.
Remove the old white plastic shroud and use the same 3 screws to mount it on the new icemaker.
Note: the new icemaker has a scew for a clamp over the heating element which must be removed.
The new wires and connectors fit well. Install the new icemaker. Push the wires and connector back so that the icemaker can be pushed in place. Cover the wires with the old wire cover.
We tossed the first bucker of ice cubes as one is not sure how clean the new cube trays were.
We checked the old icemaker. The defect was located between the copper trace contact fingers and the heating element pin. The fingers lose their contact pressure over time and eventually result in arcing and complete loss of contact. The icemaker water supply line tip and the hopper freezes and no cubes produced.
