replacement battery

The battery states that it has a higher capacity than the one I replaced. The old one was not holding it charge for longer than 1 week but when new lasted for 6 months. The one shipped with the "higer capacity" is only lasting 2 to 3 weeks since it was installed. It could be that I just received a poor sample, or had been stored uncharged for too long.

great tape for the price

thiner metal than the steel tape I was replacing, tape not rated by EU standards but seems well made and when compared to my "good tape" gives same reading. both tapes were pulled with tape tensioner. have a "working steel" tape for track meets again.

Old school still works

I use the palm with a total station to measure throws at athletic meets. The serial connection on the 100 is more secure than on other palms. I also like the if the battery gets low you just throw in a couple of triple A’s and you are good for the rest of the day.
