Simply a great entry level DSLR!

The Sony Alpha 200 really is a great entry level DSLR. Despite newer models now being available, performance and user settings will be more than adequate for those making the move from compact to DSLR. The only downsides I see to the Alpha 200 (and the reasons why this isn't rated 'Excellent') are a) the lack of movie recording, but as there are movie cameras to do that & b) the non-standard hot-shoe for peripheral equipment such as external flash and pop-up flash diffusers. A small adaptor overcomes this Sony/Minolta related issue but it's still a potential negative for some who may have equipment that fits Canon, Nikon, etc. All in all, I have no regrets in making the move into the Alpha 200 - the images produced are well worth the investment.

Perfect for Wheelie Bins!

Perfect size Easy to apply Great adhesion to the bin The only improvement would be to centralise the content vertically within the bounding box: three sets we've ordered have all been set high in the box which will play havoc with the OCD members of the population :) Because of this, two neighbours cut out around the numbers to avoid applying the bounding box - waste of raw production materials.

Good value to keep Wii console connected

Bought to replace the old 3 cable analogue input connection, this set gives great quality output with clear graphics on the newer TV. HDMI cable isn't the best, but is adequate for the job and doesn't affect the end result. Would buy again if necessary and recommended to keep original Wii console connected to up-to-date TV equipment.
