This story about the evolution of restaurants in London and cuisine starting in the 1960s, led by Mario and Franco Lagattolla, is really compelling, interesting as a story, as an evolution of a restaurant business, as a biography, as a book about gastronomy. It is also a sad reminder in the end, what happens to something beautiful and creative, when it’s taken over by large corporations.
