Great quality
Terrific communication and a very high quality product for the price - it was a terrific Hallowe'en costume

Kitchen sink rock & roll
I loved this movie. It is not the slick, polished nostalgic crap that Hollywood loves to pump out. It is a gritty realistic tale of a boy who is kicking at authority and looking for a way out. Not only is David Essex absolutely gorgeous, he is a convincing actor. Stardust is just as brilliant. These movies are not depressing, they're realistic, and that can be a shock when we're so used to Cinderella style drama.

Great book - horrific reading
I loved this book and totally agree with "disinclined's" excellent review. I do have to say though, as a Brit, that the reading on the audiobook by Carrington McDuffie is atrocious. She makes so many mispronounciations that I had to keep listening to truly believe it. I wonder if there was anyone who could have advised Ms. McDuffie to save her from such embarrassment? Her English accent is possibly the worst since Dick Van Dyke's memorable disaster in 'Mary Poppins'. If it wasn't for the quality of the stort (and it really is gripping) I would have stopped listening VERY early on.
