heavy for a 3500
1 of 5 found this helpful Good reel, but heavy and large compared to other makes of similar sizes. Compared to a Stradic 3000 HG, it's noticeably heavier. The handle sticks WAY out. Its a little stiff reeling in, but I noticed that all Penn reels I tried are like this. Crank it and let it go and it only turns about 2 times, whereas my Stradic just keeps going. This would be a "brute" reel and my Stradic would be the "finesse" reel. Good if your trying to horse in a larger sized fish like a bull red. Wouldn't use it for the smaller stuff like crappie or even small bass.

Good battery, not durable
5 of 7 found this helpful Used it in my propex expander tool. Worked great till I dropped it. And not from very high, maybe 3'. Immediately dead. These do not take normal everyday tradesman wear like the Milwaukee batteries. The Milwaukee batteries will take that kind of drop, but these won't. Really brittle plastic. You get what you pay for.

Poor color
0 of 1 found this helpful Red color was washed out and faded. Blue wasn’t very vibrant. Both colors kind of old and tired. Sorta like Bernie, but I got it for a joke anyhow so what the heck.
