An expensive part that worked, but almost isn't worth the money
I purchased this wiring harness for my 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. First of all, it cost about twice as much as I think it should have. However, it was much easier to click buy than to spend half a day pulling door panels off at the junkyard searching for one that's not broken, only to have it break in six months because it's forty years old too. My other option was to try and rig the broken one i had. I'm sure that wouldn't have gone well either.
At first it looked to be of decent quality. It had nice long, thick wires. However, as i installed it, i realized that it wasn't that great. I can't believe I'm complaining about this, but it had overly thick ten or twelve gauge wires and they were extremely difficult to manipulate. The kit came with six yellow heat shrinkable terminals, but my wiring was only fourteen or sixteen gauge. I crimped them in the much larger terminals, hoping one day the wires don't fall out. The wires on the harness weren't marked or color coded. They're all grey, so i transferred them one by one. Two of my wires had broken off. Figuring out where they went could have been a lot less trouble if this was marked. Also, the wires came out the back of the plug, not the side, like factory, and don't forget they're extremely hard and difficult to manipulate, so they stuck into the hole in the door and were being grazed by the window as it went up and down. I spent a lot of time manipulating the wires so they weren't in the way. I guess maybe this is a universal harness. For as expensive as it was, i had higher expectations, but i don't think anyone else makes this, so what choice did i have?

Junk
I rebuilt my alternator with this kit. It went from working poorly to not working at all. I tore the whole thing back apart and found the voltage regulator was useless. I don't have time or patience to deal with a return.

Great hat for my toddler!
My son wears this hat everywhere. He's about to turn three and he's had it probably a year. My only complaint is that the adjustable strap on the back is kinda long and sticks out the right side. He tends to play with it, so it would be nice if it tucked in or there was more Velcro material.
