The good beginning of a great thing
Incredible is a very good start to a great thing: It has an operating system that's seems almost as user friendly as apple's offering, while retaining some flexibility and customization. From what I've heard, HTC is fairly neutral toward hackers, as well. The incredible comes with a smooth operating processor, just about right for most applications and basic multi-tasking. HTC offers an extended battery for the incredible, a red 2150 mAh battery with cover, that boosts battery life from the paltry 1300 mAh standard. Overall, the Incredible is a good start at a standard operating system, really supplements google's initiative with the android operating system. It's user interface is generally friendlier and more attractive than Motorola's, MotoBlur. Oh, and if you're looking for a used phone, or end up purchasing another phone at retail cost, the value of this has declined sharply, probably because of Verizon's two newest contenders (the Moto Droid X and Droid 2). But, all in all, the three have their advantages and disadvantages, making this phone a pretty darn good deal at the moment! (2 SEP 2010) On the "needs improvement" side, we have battery life and screen responsiveness: Overall, the battery life sucks. Few smartphones, phones regularly used for navigating, music playing, web browsing, have a battery with such low capacity. Perhaps, it was HTC's attempt to streamline the appearance of the phone while including all the "essentials" that led to this noticeable deficiency, but it's not a good excuse. If you're going to buy the incredible, you might as well suck it up and buy the extended battery unless you want to charge your phone 2-3 times a day. For those who buy the battery (Verizon seems to be the cheapest seller at the moment), check out HTCPedia (http://shop.htcpedia.com/) for cases, protectors and other HTC accessories. One other thing that I found with my Incredible, and I certainly don't know if it's standard, across the board, but I had problems with screen responsiveness while it was cradled in my windshield holder. Trying to get anything to respond while it was vertical was next to impossible. Calibrating didn't seem to help, but pulling it down made everything all right, if a little inconvenient. So, that's it! A good start to a good smartphone. Doesn't have all the "frills" that the X has, but is very capable, user friendly and compact. Still not sure which I like more, the X or incredible!

Braun Series 9-9376CC Wet and Dry Electric Shaver Brand New

A Shaver, Not the Second Coming...
After everything I read, watched, and eventually tried- it's just a foil shaver. A very well marketed foil shaver. That said, does it live up to the hype? Yes, it seems to shave better than my $49 Braun from college. It doesn't work well on longer hair (10 day), but it does seem to do a middling to above average on 3-day stubble. Best thing about it? No razor burn, redneck, and fewer minor flesh wounds. When all is said and done, this is a quality product with a hefty price tag. Bottom line: Moderate expectations--it won't perform miracles. It's a shaver, not the second coming.
