Can openers - the simpler the better.
1 of 1 found this helpful Simply because it works on all cans - cuts deep enough and holds on to small cans. 95% of can openers on the market don't work, have to be beautifful and complex to even be ON the market. Done to hype the price. Heavy, shiny, design-hyped as much as possible. Whereas the simple ones ("Good Cook" brand - same design - is also great) of this basic design work too well, can't be thrown away. Marketing traits typical of the Chinese / Pac Rim countries takeover of manufacturing.
New Chef and Good Cook are about $2 each. Most of the junk brands are $10 avg and rising.
