Behringer x-touch
1 of 3 found this helpful It's great that this is available. My DAW of choice is PT 11, Ive found that many of the single button commands and the jog wheel, do nothing. I haven't tried it in any other DAW yet. It also loses it's connection in random spurts which is annoying (totally unreliable if you're automating a live recording). So for now this product has a shaky functionality record at best and I only use it for automating volume on 8 tracks simultaneously as well as plug in parameters and panning so it gets the job done...? In a way... when I turn it off and back on maybe once or twice throughout a 7 min song and reset the peripheral settings to nothing and then back to the x-touch. Sigh. Needless to say, I'm going to keep saving for an avid controller but I will keep working with the behringer until then.

Clip on rock on
If you already have enough sm57s or 58s and don’t want to buy e604s to mic your toms, these are a good option. Even for mixing you’re snare top or bottom. They’re thick plastic that flexes and absorbs shock. They are honestly better than LP claws, which rattle on loud percussive instruments. I would go with these hands down. If you have the budget check out the sennheiser e904s those are probably the best sounding and most convenient drum Tom mics for a love environment. If you really have the budget check out josephson mics.
