Good DVD player
3 of 3 found this helpful Like the down mix function, it takes Dolby Digital, and outputs Pro Logic to compatible receivers. I also like that it can play CDVs, not all that common on DVD players anymore but it doesn't cost the manufacturer any more to include it as a feature. The only thing I don't like about it is that it can't play MP3s, other than that it's really nice. works well. I also like the extra set of A/V outputs that Sony added on the back, I'm no using em but if you ran one set straight to the TV and the other set through an A/V receiver that could potentially be useful for some.

Good lens for a K1000
This is a great prime lens for a Pentax K1000. It provides nice sharp focus and captures a good deal of light at f1.7.

24 port Procurve 2524
This switch is by no means the latest and greatest out there but as of 2010 it still offers a lot of value for the money. Spanning tree, trunking, an industry standard CLI and also a web interface (note that the CLI has more features than the web interface), 2 expansion slots for gigabit ports or uplink modules, stacking capabilities, VLANs etc.
I was able to get it working on my network in less than a half hour with VLANs and everything.
