Worth it.
For the price, you can't really go wrong.
I have run 5-6 charges through it so far, and after the first 2-3 now I'm getting the range I expected. After the first charge, I was worried I got one of those packs with half the capacity, but hindsight tells me it was just hard terrain and I was really pushing the motor in some spots. Today I road about 18 miles on old railbed, so about as perfect for an ebike as exists. I averaged 14-18 mph and when I was done, the cheap-o battery display that came with my motor kit still had 1 bar left on it. (out of 4) 750w BBS02 motor kit.
Over-all --- if you're worried they're a scam.. mine wasn't, I'd suggest one of these to anyone that has the physical space for it. Check your mounts though - it doesn't line up with some Trek MTB frames, I had to modify some stuff.
