Flawed design

The motor got stuck: the plastic around the bearing (where the trimming wire is located) got worn out just 1 year after purchase. On inspection (as electronics designer I'm qualified) the magnets were lose, one was broken, some were missing. Photos available. The motor design is flawed because rotor and stator are only kept together by to pieces of plastic which are held together by 4 screws. As for maximum efficiency the air gap between rotor and stator has to be as small as possible, in a proper design, rotor and stator are encased in a solid metal enclosure, to prevent the rotor hitting the stator under asymmetric load like that of string trimmers. The use of cheap plastic as Worx does is an absolute guarantee that the rotor will get lose, hit the stator and destroy the magnets - unless other parts fail first and the trimmer lands at the garbage dump.
