Genesis Record, The: A Scientific and Devotional Commentary on the Book of Begi

Genesis explained by seasoned man of reason

Dr. Henry Morris is not your typical commentator on Biblical truths. He was a college professor of engineering. He is thorough in his analysis of passages in Book of Genesis, and reaches his conclusions after careful consideration of all sides of any argument. He has brought to light things that I never even considered before reading this book. Although I have not read the entire book, everything I have read so far only makes me desire to read more. The author is obviously extremely conservative in his beliefs in the Genesis account of creation, with which I agree with him more than 99% of the time. Many times he will present others' points of view on a subject, without undue criticism of their differing viewpoint. This book should be read by all serious students of the Bible, especially those who will attempt to teach others, or preach to others. I highly recommend it, especially to those who desire to read a conservative author's commentary on the subject of Creation.

Giving It All Away...and Getting It All Back Again: The Way of Livin - VERY GOOD

Generous giving by an entire family as taught them by the patriarch.

I'm presently reading this book for the second time in less than six weeks. David Green has hit a home run with this easy-to-read account of his family's approach to business and generous giving to church and excellent ministries. He has redefined the word legacy, and has shown this reader that actions speak louder than words when defining the Biblical meaning of the word stewardship. I would strongly recommend that every Christian on the planet read and absorb the author's recommendations. In case you do not recognize the author's name, David Green is the founder and CEO of Hobby Lobby.

Great Value, Great Christian Author

Having bought this large book used, it is value on steroids. I have only read "The Holy Spirit" from this group of his writings, but I'm looking forward to reading the other two. Dr. Billy Graham was truly a magnificent preacher, and was a very good writer. These complete books (3) were all written in the middle to late 1970's, but they are timeless.
