On our Trailer OK for VHF, not so much UHF
When used on the front window of our RPod 195 trailer, it works good (low SWR ) at 146 MHz, but at 448 MHz the SWR is pretty high.

Lots of advantages and only one minor disadvantage
Compared to the standard factory GoSolar PV controller, the ProStar PS-15M is much better. It allows precise, custom battery charging parameters to match the lithium iron phosphate batteries I added to my RV, and it allows me to turn charging on and off from the front panel. I also like the remote battery voltage sense inputs that ensures the controller is accurately measuring battery voltage. The one down side is that while charging, it make an audible hum, although I think by setting it to slow PWM (once per second), I can eliminate this annoyance.
