I purchased a Betamax to watch old family movies. When it arrived and I opened the box, it had no cord to plug the device in. The seller offered to ship the cords when they arrived. Once I plugged in the machine, it had a tape inside. When I ejected it, the tape was all tangled inside. I was able to remove it. However, when I inserted my own tape, it completely messed it up. Not a great experience.
