Side-by-side comparison with my other loupe
2 of 2 found this helpful When I received the Bausch & Lomb, I was initially taken aback with how small it was. By comparison, my GemOro is positively huge with a 21 mm viewing area, whereas the B & L is around 15 mm I believe. But even though these are both nominally 10x Hastings triplets, the magnification of the Bausch & Lomb is significantly greater, which I have to say I find rather strange. I use the loupe for examining meet points when cutting and polishing gemstones. For this purpose, I think the B & L is much better and will be my go-to loupe going forward.
